I almost always see this hotel as one of my top choices in the area, because 1)It's Marriott Hotel and I'm a Bonvoy Member, 2)It's 4 stars, 3)It's a Westin and 4)It's cheaper/cheapest than most of my options. Sometimes I stay with family, sometimes I get my own hotel, depending on what I have planned during my trip. The supervisor came out and I explained the situation. I approached the woman at the counter and asked to speak to the supervisor. She also offered to take his luggage and send him a text message when the room was ready. I was completely stunned on what happened next: He asked about early check in and went to speak to her manager, and he was given it for FREE!. I was standing on the side when she began helping a man check in. I also mentioned that they should speak to the person who is responding to social media messages, so that all the information is shares with guests. She apologized for the way I was treated, and upgraded my room, and gave me free parking. Another manager names Liz heard and came over. I showed her the email, and that it didn’t mention anything about a fee. She continued with stating: “it was in my email confirmation”. At the counter, I asked about early check in, and am now being told there is a charge. Sent a message through Facebook asking about early check in. Would definitely return if in the area again, and I really appreciated the welcome from Kristin!. The driver was courteous, helped me with my luggage, and most importantly, drove safely!. When I entered the lobby, the shuttle was there waiting. I took the free shuttle back to the airport. The room was clean with a large desk for working, an in-room safe, a robe, and a good shower.The bed was so comfortable, there was a stand alone makeup mirror in the bathroom (in addition to the wall mirror) and even a "relax" spray for getting a good night's sleep. And then I had an early flight back to the East Coast, so I was able to return to the lounge for a nice breakfast. Then their executive lounge was open for hors d'oeuvres (many Marriotts have closed their lounges since Covid), and I was able to grab something to eat. When I arrived, there was quite a line for check-in, but there was also an Elite line for members with nobody waiting. I had a room request, so I emailed back, and she took care of it immediately. About a week before I arrived, I received a personal email from Kristin Hynes (Sales Executive, Corporate Travel) welcoming me as a Platinum Elite member and encouraging me to contact her with any questions.
